The “Berså” pattern was originally designed in 1960 by the renowned designer Stig Lindberg and was produced by Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik from 1961 until 1974.

After a hiatus, production of this iconic pattern resumed in 2005 and continues to this day. At Retro & Rugs, while we primarily specialise in vintage items, we have chosen to offer a select range of newly produced pieces from Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik, appreciating their unwavering dedication to traditional craftsmanship.

Each product is meticulously handmade, with the decoration carefully handpainted on every single piece. Each item is handled between 40 to 45 times by highly skilled artisans, resulting in a truly unique piece where subtle variations and individual touches may naturally occur.
